In this silk painting, I have metaphorically depicted the deep sorrow of a broken heart while also conveying hope for the future. The forest, the bird in the shape of a girl, and the broken, dried trees symbolize the girl's profound sadness for her lost love. To set the colours permanently,I used the steam setting technique.
