"Touch of Canada" refers to the vibrant celebrations and ceremonies held on Canada Day in Ottawa, the capital of the country. This significant event includes the parade of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). This silk painting is part of my memories from that day. The tulips around the Parliament Buildings symbolize those who courageously gave their lives for this land.
To set the colours permanently, I used steam setting technique.
